Kelly Services Temp to Perm Fraud Investigator (Senior) in Carmel, Indiana
Kelly Legal Managed Services is actively recruiting for experienced Fraud Investigator for a temp to perm opportunity in Carmel, IN. The hired candidate will be responsible for identifying and investigating suspicious or unlawful activity directed at policyholder and enterprise assets while providing business partner consultation and strategic directions through professional reports. This position will require 20 -25% travel, will start in the month of April and require a minimum of 40 hours a week. The ideal candidate should have 3-5+ years demonstrable analytical skills along with a passion for research and investigative evidence analysis! Responsibilities and Qualifications are as follows:
Reviews, assesses, and prioritizes referrals to the Special Investigations Unit.
Develops investigative action plans.
Investigates multiple types of cases, including internal fraud, employee misconduct, claims fraud, agent related fraud and complex cases with multiple insured’s.
Functions as lead investigator on large investigations and special projects
Assists Departments of Insurance and law enforcement agencies with investigations of fraud and agent misconduct.
Consults with business partners, Departments of Insurance, Law Enforcement, and other agencies to provide training guidance, and investigate and report fraud as required.
Writes investigative reports and communicates risks and trends from fraudulent activities
Bachelor’s degree required, Graduate degree business or criminal justice preferred
Insurance investigation preferred; Criminal Justice background welcomed
Advanced industry designation such as CFE, CPA, CIFI or AHFI highly desired
Investigative experience with securities, life and/or health insurance
Prior experience supervising complex investigations
Ability to analyze, interpret and evaluate relevant information to resolve suspicious, sensitive and complex investigations
Ability to assess and execute new course of action and/or implement effective strategic plans
Ability to influence and build productive working relationships
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to apply judgment and make sound decisions when investigating complex issues
Willingness to travel on short notice for extended periods of time
